Dried Distillers Grains with Solubles (DDGS) are produced in the ethanol production process from corn starch. The mash obtained after fermentation and distillation of ethyl alcohol is concentrated and then subjected to a drying process. This results in a high-quality protein feed material, used as an ingredient in animal feed for cattle, pigs, poultry, directly influencing the protein content in milk, and the natural carotenoid content positively affects the color of egg yolks.
